🏆Delegation of Distinction Tracker
Later this year, you'll be asked to submit a self-evalution form. On it, you'll be asked:
  • Did at least 60% of the delegation participate together in a community service or community engagement activity outside of a regular delegation meeting? Or did 80% participate in a community drive event (canned goods, school supplies, letter writing, etc) during a delegation meeting. Describe the event(s) in which your participated this year. If you held more than one event, include the number of participants at each event. You'll let us know the number of delegates who participated in JUST ONE event (the best attendance you had).
  • How well did your delegation adhere to your delegation Guiding Document, the Y&G Code of Conduct, and how well did delegates demonstrate the YMCA values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility. It is okay to admit to failures. What is important is how your delegation handled and overcame challenges, mistakes, violations, etc. The point of this question is to encourage advisors and officer teams to be thoughtful in evaluating what went well and what didn't this year and how they can improve delegation (and Y&G) culture next year. (Advisors are strongly encouraged to have their officers write the respose to this question which can be cut/pasted into the form later this year.)
